This is an all-day, face to face course running from 10:00 am – 4 pm. The course will take place at Scotia Works, Sheffield in the training room. This course is CPD accredited and a certificate of completion will be provided.

The timings for this course include your morning break and lunch break.

Course outcomes:

• Understand the definition, prevalence  and indicators of so-called ‘honour’-based violence, forced marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM)
• Understand how to respond to a victim (or potential victim)  in order to protect them
• Have a raised awareness of the safeguarding issues associated with forced marriage and honour-based violence
• Familiarise yourself with legislation and child protection procedures.
