Coronavirus update – 10th January, 2021
Although all our face-to-face training is currently cancelled, we have a programme of live, online training sessions available to book now. Our online domestic abuse and sexual violence awareness courses are still available for trainees to access remotely. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates via this website.

LIVE, ONLINE – South Yorkshire Volunteers & Champions Seminar – Victim Blaming Language & How We Challenge it?

June 17 | 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

In this session we will explore why we might unintentionally use victim blaming language & how we can avoid it.

Join us and contribute to the conversation.

Victims blaming language is a subtle way in which we might unknowingly undermine the survivor’s experience of domestic abuse. We want to ensure we are working in a trauma informed way, that empowers survivors. In all areas of service, we aim to give our clients a space to share their story without being blamed for their experience of domestic or sexual violence.
