LIVE, ONLINE – Mental Health and Domestic Abuse (Sheffield workers)

man talking

This online course is an introduction to mental health and domestic abuse.

This course covers:

  • An introduction to domestic abuse and the additional challenges of poor mental health
  • Overlaps within our client groups
  • Barriers we face when working with our clients who may have mental health difficulties
  • Questioning techniques
  • Recording, guidelines and responsibilities.

We run a programme of domestic abuse training events throughout the year in collaboration with Sheffield City Council. These events are free and available to professionals working in Sheffield. We have limited places and it is therefore important that you only register for a course if you intend to attend. If you are unable to attend your course for any reason, you must unregister so someone else can take your place. IDAS will report repeat incidents of non-attendance to your direct report.

We operate a three strikes policy and non-attenders who miss three sessions will be blocked from registering for future IDAS training.
